Duplo's DB-200 brings professional perfect binding to your desktop. The ability to produce up to 200 books per hour makes this user-friendly machine ideal for short-run and on-demand printing applications.
The DB200 incorporates a range of outstanding features typically reserved for larger, more expensive machines. Electronic clamping and a cover nipping table which presses the wrap-around cover on all three sides as the glue cures, ensure perfectly square spines everytime.
Centrally located controls for single-operator efficiency and a clearly marked LED display ensure more precise settings. The simple push of a button converts the machine for padding jobs.
The DB-200 enables operators to simply place flat sheets into the clamp, where pages are gripped automatically and the binding process is started. A double pass over the roughening cutter provides superior notching to ensure superb glue penetration, and a unique notching system eliminates paper dust for cleaner operation.
For added convenience and efficiency, the DB200 features a cover detection mechanism at the nipping station that assures the clamp will not travel back to the nipping position until the cover stock is in position.
Optimum operator convenience is further ensured by the ability to preset nipping and clamping time and by a stand-by mode that allows periodic interruptions in production while minimizing glue deterioration.
A safety cover on the notching blade ensures operator safety at all time.
